Collaboration
In a 3-week collaborative project, Level 3 Fashion Communication students and Level 3 Fashion Textiles students joined forces to develop bodies of visual and textual, primary and secondary research that explored and challenged their thinking around a chosen subject.
Through a series of taught and independent study sessions, students sourced, analysed and responded creatively to their research, multiplying the dimensions by which they understood their research, evidencing a depth and breadth of thinking as well as creative action.
The project manifested through physical publications and a presentation, which communicated the findings of each group's research enquiries in to subjects such as masculinity, sustainability, future technologies, taboos, collecting, colour theory, identity, subcultures and the human form.
