Life Inside Google Street View

Commenting on surveillance, clothing and identity, Life Inside Google Street View is a Tank Magazine VR editorial capturing three characters spotted on Google Street View. This humorous reflection of surveillance references the strange characters and scenarios seen on Google Maps.

The styling explores how we can choose whether we want to be seen or not through what we wear. Through a merging of past and future styles, these characters appear to exist outside of dress codes and cannot be aligned to one era. This confusion reflects the warping of time presented in Google Street View, where new crowds of people appear around each corner and the weather changes from street to street.

Interactive elements offer a new shoppable editorial experience for the Tank Magazine customer in VR.
